Product Overview: Our Polyester (PET) Battery Tape is specifically engineered for the rigorous demands of the energy storage industry. Combining a high-strength polyester film with a chemical-resistant silicone adhesive, this tape provides superior insulation and bundling for lithium-ion battery cells (cylindrical, prismatic, and pouch). It is designed to maintain high dielectric strength and adhesion even when exposed to harsh battery electrolytes.

Application

Applications in Battery Pack Assembly & TDK Components

  • Battery Cell Bundling: Securely wrapping 18650, 21700, and 4680 series cells to form stable battery modules.

  • Insulation Protection: Providing a reliable barrier between cells and busbars or cooling plates in EV battery packs.

  • TDK Sensor & BMS Support: Used to fix and insulate NTC thermistors and temperature sensors (often TDK brand) within the battery management system.

  • Terminal Masking: Protecting battery terminals and tabs during coating or soldering processes to ensure clean electrical contact.

  • Transformer & Coil Fixing: Applicable for small high-frequency transformers used in battery chargers and power converters.
