Polyester Reinforced Glass Fiber Filament Tape Oil Resist 3M 1139 Alternative
product detail
Filament Reinforced Electrical Tape is a 0.16mm thick, acrylic adhesive, solvent resistant, electrical tape. This tape is suitable for applications and reinforcements, as well as for holding and separating ground insulation. The tape is 600V rated and withstands a temperature range of 32 to 311 °F (0 to 155 °C). This high break strength tape is designed for applications that require both dielectric strength and mechanical strength. Ideal for bundling motor coils and coil covering.
Technical Specifications & Industrial Excellence
-
Exceptional Tensile Strength: Reinforced with longitudinal fiberglass filaments, providing extreme resistance to breaking and stretching, even under heavy mechanical loads.
-
Specialized Oil Resistance: Equipped with a high-performance acrylic adhesive specifically formulated to maintain its bond and structural integrity when submerged in transformer oil.
-
Low Stretch & High Tack: Minimal elongation ensures that bundled components (like transformer coils) stay tight and secure over their entire service life.
-
Residue-Free & Chemical Stable: Resistant to aging and chemical degradation, ensuring no contaminants are released into the insulating cooling fluids.
This product can perfectly replace 3M 1139.

Application
Critical Applications in Power Distribution & Heavy Industry
-
Oil-Immersed Transformers:The premier choice for bundling lead wires, fixing Insulation paper, and securing copper coils within oil-filled power transformers.
-
Heavy-Duty Motor & Generator Insulation: Used for "end-turn" bracing and anchoring lead wires in large motors where high mechanical tension is required.
-
High-Voltage Switchgear: Providing structural support and electrical insulation for components in power grid distribution systems.
-
Battery Module Compression: Ideal for bundling lithium-ion battery cells where high tensile strength is needed to counteract cell expansion.
-
General Industrial Bundling: Used for securing heavy metal parts or piping where standard tapes would fail due to weight or oily surface conditions.
