Product Overview: Our Thermal Spray Masking Tape is a premium-grade, multi-layered tape engineered to withstand the most punishing surface treatment environments. Constructed from high-density woven fiberglass fabric and a high-temperature silicone adhesive, it is specifically designed to protect sensitive areas during Plasma Spray, HVOF (High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel), and Flame Spray operations. It provides a tough, sacrificial barrier that resists the impact of grit blasting and the intense heat of thermal spray, while ensuring clean, sharp masking lines.

  • Extreme Heat Resistance: Capable of withstanding continuous exposure to high-temperature spray streams and radiant heat up to 260°C (500°F) without charring or lifting.

  • Superior Abrasion Resistance: The rugged glass cloth backing survives high-pressure grit blasting (sandblasting) without shredding, protecting the underlying surface perfectly.

  • Clean, Residue-Free Removal: Formulated with a specialized silicone adhesive that maintains a firm grip during the process but peels off cleanly from complex metal alloys without leaving ghosting or adhesive transfer.
